Introduction

Loan-IT is a scalable Loan Management system that allows companies that provide Loans to manage all aspects of their Loans e.g. Debtor and Loan creation/maintenance, installment/interest calculations, collections, rescheduling of Loans, settlement of Loans.

Debtor Master

This module allows the user to maintain the Debtors. It has the following functionality:

· Facility to create and maintain Debtors

· Association of Payment Methods to Debtors

· Association of Contacts to Debtors

Loan Master

This module allows the user to capture and maintain multiple Loans against a Debtor. The system caters for the following Loan Types – Term Loans, Overdraft Loans, Bridging Finance. The system also caters for fixed interest and prime linked interest rates.

The Loan Master has the following functionality:

· Facility to create and maintain Loans

· Facility to reschedule Loans

· Facility to calculate Settlement balances and to settle Loans

· View of Loan Payment Plan

· View of Financial transactions associated to each Loan (Accounts Receivable)

Activities Master

This module allows the user to create Activities against Debtors and Loans. This allows users to specify everything that has happened against a Loan as well as to diarize events that must happen against a Loan.

Month End Module

This module calculates the installment amounts that are outstanding on each Loan and creates Invoices for the outstanding amounts.

Collections Module

The Collections Module will allow the user to collect money against a Loan (e.g. by means of Debit Orders) and to record receipts against the Loans.

The system employs Role based security that allows users to easily configure what functionality is assigned to each user

Reporting

Standard Reports are available. It is easy to implement customized reports.

Integration to Financial Systems

LOAN-IT can be integrated to Financial Systems like Great Plains, Accpac, Navision.

Technology

LOAN-IT is a web based system developed using Microsoft’s .Net technology. Microsoft SQL Server is used as the database.
